Hello,
I just started experimenting with pyrography and have fallen in love. I have a question about finishes. I know everyone has different preferences but I want to know what is best for a beginner. I just finished a project that I will be giving as a birthday present. It is a picture frame and I'm wanting to put some sort of stain or seal on it because the wood looks so dry and plain. I've looked in to butcher block conditioner and am wondering if that will work. I don't want something super shiny I just don't want to have such plain looking dry wood.
I hope my questions make sense. Thank you!
